Get close to the action with a court side seat in the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena during the 2009-10 basketball season. GVSU Athletics will be selling a limited number of seats (24 total) which are located just a few feet from the court. To reserve a pair of seats a donation of $600 is required.

The annual commitments are comprised of a donation and the costs associated with basketball court side season tickets. If you itemize, you may be able to deduct 80 percent of the designated donation for the seats as a charitable contribution on your federal income tax return, thus reducing your taxable income and your tax liability by an amount equal to 80 percent of your marginal tax rate- IRS Tax Code 170 (1). Consult your tax adviser regarding your situation.

Court side seats must be purchased pairs and the donation will go to the Irwin Club, which is the GVSU athletic fund. If you have any questions or would like to purchase seats, please call the athletic ticket office at (616) 331-3200.
