Houghton, Mich. - Grand Valley State junior center Jason Bauer was named the 2002-03 All-GLIAC Second-Team it was announced Thursday (Mar. 6) at a GLIAC banquet in Houghton, Mich. Grand Valley State finished the year 14-14 and advanced to the GLIAC Tournament.

Bauer concluded his career as the only player in Lakers annals to record over 1,000 points (1,333), 1,000 rebounds (1,021) and 200 assists (222). In addition, Bauer became just the second player in Laker history lead the team in rebounding all four years of his career. Jason led the team in scoring (14.1) and rebounding (9.0) during his senior year.
