Allendale, Mich. - Senior center Jason Bauer led GVSU with 14 points and five caroms as the Lakers claimed a 76-67 home win over Rochester. GVSU improves to 4-6 with the victory, while Rochester falls to 10-6.

Freshman guard Jerry Wallace chipped in 11 points, while Duke Cleveland added 11 points and three rebounds. Freshman Jeff Grauzer added 10 points and freshman guard Courtney James tallied nine points and six assists. The Lakers shot 50 percent from the field (28-56) and hit 11 of 13 free throws. GVSU had a 32-28 advantage on the glass.
