Fayette, Iowa - Grand Valley State jumped out to a 38-14 halftime lead and never looked back en route to a 75-43 road win at Upper Iowa University. GVSU improves to 14-3 on the year and will next be in action Monday, Jan. 23 at the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena vs. Gannon.

Mike Hall paced the Lakers with 15 points and five rebounds, while Jason Jamerson chipped in 10 points, five rebounds and four assists. Callistus Eziukwu added 10 points and a game-high nine rebounds. Pete Trammell scored nine points and Dan Redder seven for the Lakers.

GVSU shot 55.1 percent from the floor and limited Upper Iowa to just 30.4 percent from the field. GVSU held a 39-30 rebounding advantage and held an opponent under the 52-point mark for the ninth time this season.

Grand Valley State will honor its Fall athletic team (Football, Volleyball, Soccer, Men's Cross Country and Women's Cross Country, during halftime of the men's game.
