Grand Valley State World Series Gamenotes 
Grand Valley State will open play at the 2009 NCAA DII World Series Saturday (May 23) in Cary, N.C. at the USA National Training Center. First pitch is set for 5 p.m. and all of action can be heard live on the internet at www.gvsulakers.com. In addition, the NCAA will produce a live video webcast. All audio and video of the NCAA DII World Series can be accessed by going to GVSULakers.com.
Grand Valley State is making its fourth appearance at the NCAA DII World Series since 2003. The Lakers are 6-5 all-time in World Series action.
