Grand Valley State claimed its second straight NCAA Division II North Central Regional Championship title to advance to Mongomery, Alabama for the NCAA DII World Series. The Lakers enter the eight-team World Series with a school-best 43-15 record. Grand Valley has now won 30-of-its-last-34 games.

The tournament starts on Saturday, May 22. GVSU will play Cal State-Chico in the second game on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. EST.
