Allendale, Mich. - The GLIAC Baseball Tournament that was scheduled to be played at Grand Valley State has been cancelled due to inclement weather. GVSU captured the GLIAC regular season title posting a 28-3 record and has been awarded the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The 28 wins is the most in GLIAC history. Grand Valley was ranked first in the most recent North Central Regional poll and would host the regional beginning May 18. The 2006 NCAA Tournament field will be announced Monday, May 15.
