#9 Grand Valley State has qualified for the 2004 North Central Regional Baseball Tournament for the third consecutive year. The tournament will be hosted by Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio. GVSU has complied a 39-14 overall record and was 23-7 in GLIAC play. The Lakers defeated Ashland 16-2 and 6-0 to win the GLIAC Tournament title.

GVSU is the #2 seed in the North Central Tournament and will play #3 seed Wisconsin-Parkside on Thursday, May 13 at 12:00 p.m.
