Team Rademacher Evens Up Fall World Series
Team Rad notches a 7-3 victory to tie the best-of-three series at one a piece.
2011: Appeared in 18 games with two starts...Went 3-1 with a 1.69 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 26.2 IP...Was a part of two shutouts during the season, including being the starting pitcher in an 11-0 shutout of Gannon on 3/4 (5 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 4 K)...In 14 of his appearances he did not allow an earned run...Holding opposing hitters to a .229 batting average including holding right-handed batters to a .172 average and a .176 average with runners on base.
2010: All-GLIAC Second Team Pitcher...Appeared in 14 games, including nine starts...Went 5-2 with five complete games...Posted a 3.79 ERA...Struck out 51 batters in 59.1 innings pitched...Went seven innings and struck out nine batters at Hillsdale (3/19) in a 13-1 victory...Went a career-high eight innings against Ashland (3/24) where he yielded four hits, no earned runs, and struck out six to earn the 4-3 victory...Struck out a career-high 11 batters against Hillsdale (3/31) in an 8-7 victory...Went 5.2 innings and allowed six hits and two earned runs, while striking out four against Southern Indiana (5/16) in the Midwest Regional Tournament...Named GLIAC Pitcher of the Week (3/22).
2009: Appeared in 17 games, all in a relief role...Posted a 2-0 record with a 3.71 ERA...Yielded 12 runs, 11 of which were earned, with 26 strikeouts and just 10 walks...Struckout a career-high six and yielded just two hits in three innings or work vs. C.W. Post (3/10)...Recorded five strikeouts vs. Wayne State (5/2)...Picked up the win in relief for GVSU in GLIAC Tournament vs. Wayne State (5/8), yielding one run in 2.2 innings of work.
High School: Prepped at DeWitt High School...Played for Mike Brya...Four-year varsity letter-winner... Named to Lansing State Journal 2007 Dream Team ...Selected team captain junior and senior seasons...Named first-team all-league junior and senior seasons and all-league honorable mention as a sophomore...Compiled a 10-2 record with a 0.78 ERA from the mound and batted .385 with 20 RBI as a senior.
