High School: Prepped at Plymouth High School under head coach Bryan Boyd...Hit .470 his senior year with seven home runs, 38 RBI and a .920 slugging percentage...Had five triples and 15 stolen bases...Hit .406 as a junior with six triples, six home runs, a .512 on-base percentage, a .772 slugging percentage and 29 RBI...Named all-conference, all-area, all-district and team MVP...As a sophomore, he hit .416 with five triples, a .488 on-base percentage and a .564 slugging percentage while being named all-conference.
