The Lakers have finished among the top two in the final standings in each of the last 22 years the trophy has been presented. Grand Valley State has won 18-of-the-last-21 titles overall, have scored 1,000 or more points 11 times and hold the top 15 overall point totals. The day was highlighted by podium finishes by Isaac Tavo (men's discus), Braden Prielipp (high jump), Owen Westerkamp (3000m steeplechase), Flynn Pumpa (3000m steeplechase) and Noah Selvaraj (3000m steeplechase). Joshua Hurt advanced from the 110m hurdles to the finals and the men's 4x400m relay will make an appearance in tomorrow's finals.
